World TeamTennis has signed a wide-ranging partnership with San Francisco-based sports marketing firm PIVOT Agency to expand the organization’s business efforts.
PIVOT Agency will work with World TeamTennis to increase sponsorship revenue, while also identifying potential ownership groups for West Coast expansion, expanding on a prior relationship tied to competition this year. The company has also become an official marketing partner of World TeamTennis.
World TeamTennis is looking to maintain momentum after its quarantined summer tournament at The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia secured record domestic television ratings. The competition also delivered the most blue-chip sponsors in World TeamTennis history, including Geico, Wilson, and DraftKings.
“PIVOT Agency has a proven track record of finding blue-chip partners for marquee leagues in this country, and they’re the perfect fit for us as we continue to grow World TeamTennis,” Carlos Silva, the World TeamTennis chief executive, said. “Coming off of our most successful season to date, it’s important to keep the momentum moving forward, and PIVOT will help us monetize that momentum.”
PIVOT Agency, which was founded in 2014, has previously worked with Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer and the National Hockey League.
