WALNUT CREEK, CA – The Franchise Agency (TFA) has partnered with PIVOT Agency to establish and lead Bay Area corporate and community marketing opportunities for recently named San Francisco 49er, Richard Sherman.
Sherman, who has spent the last seven National Football League (NFL) seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, signed with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, March 11th almost immediately after being released by the Seahawks.
The Bay Area is familiar ground to Sherman as he was a Stanford football standout from 2006-2010. As a freshman wide receiver at Stanford, Sherman led the Cardinal in receiving in while being named a Freshman All-American. After an injury to his knee in 2008 Sherman requested a position change to corner, a position where he made 112 tackles over his final two seasons.

Sherman grew up in Compton, California so being back in his home state offers him the chance to immerse himself into the community, the team and the fans that surround his new home.
His community efforts will continue in the Bay Area as he maintains his non-profit focus on The Richard Sherman Family Foundation, Blanket Coverage. Blanket Coverage is an organization that provides students from low-income families; school supplies and clothing so they can more adequately achieve their goals.
