WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – PIVOT Agency (@PIVOTAgency) announced that it has signed Paralympic Gold Medalist Jorge Sanchez (@athlete_jorge_sanchez) to act as his exclusive marketing & management company.
Sanchez has been a member of the USA Men’s Wheelchair Basketball Team since 2013 and won the Gold Medal at the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo. He is aiming to repeat this feat as Team USA goes for Gold in ‘24 in Paris.
Born in Oakland, Sanchez moved to Dublin at a young age. When he was 8, he was diagnosed with Osteogenic Sarcoma in his left femur which left him with the tough decision to have his leg amputated above the knee. He overcame a total of 23 surgeries, a near-death experience, and two years of chemotherapy.
A true inspiration and motivational figure, PIVOT will be handling all of Sanchez’s brand and career opportunities from national endorsements with Paralympic partners, PR programs, meet & greets, motivational speeches and helping to give back to his community.

Sanchez is currently playing in the Spanish Top League of Wheelchair Basketball where his team, BC Gran Canaria, sits in 4th place in the standings. His season will finish with the playoffs in May.
