PIVOT Agency Signs Lea Jansen and Christian Alshon
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – PIVOT Agency (@pivot_agency) is excited to announce the signings of professional Pickleball Athletes, Lea Jansen (@leajansen_pb) and Christian Alshon (@christian.alshon), to act as their exclusive marketing and management company.
Lea Jansen is already one of pickleball’s top stars and decorated athletes. Currently the #3 PPA Women’s Singles and #6 PPA Women’s Doubles player earning 5 PPA Gold Medals and 22 Silver Medals. Raised in Spokane, Jansen grew up playing tennis ultimately leading her to a successful tennis career at Washington State University. During her fifth year, she discovered she is a type-1 diabetic. She utilizes her platform to inspire young diabetic athletes and bring awareness to healthy living as a Type-1 diabetic. Lea now resides in Austin, TX competing on the Professional Pickleball Tour (PPA) and in Major League Pickleball (MLP).
Christian Alshon is playing his first full year of professional pickleball in 2023. Already gaining a following as the “Tweener King”, Alshon is known for his flashy play and trick shots during matches. Currently a senior at University of Chicago, he became the UAA Player of the Year and First Team All-UAA in singles and doubles in 2021-22. Alshon has traded in a decorated collegiate and promising pro tennis career for professional pickleball playing on the PPA Tour and being drafted by MLP’s Bay Area Breakers.
