Marketing Coordinator

Kara comes to PIVOT with previous experience in sports media, specifically working with Tennis Channel. She worked as a Production Assistant, starting her sophomore year of college up until March of 2020. She traveled and worked at the BNP Paribas Open with Tennis Channel for three tournaments in a row, as well as on variety of shoots working with the likes of Rafael Nadal, the Bryan Brothers, and Amanda Anisimova. Shortly after graduating college in 2019, Kara worked as the Social Media & Digital Marketing Associate with the Citi Open in Washington, D.C.

Kara graduated from Azusa Pacific University with her B.A. in Sports Journalism and a minor in Business Management. She competed on the tennis team all four years at APU, and they made it all the way to the Elite 8 at Nationals her senior year. In 2021, she earned her M.A. in Sport Management from Saint Mary’s College of California.

Favorite Sports Memory: Meeting Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer on the same day at Indian Wells, as well as watching Nick Kyrgios vs. Stefanos Tsitsipas courtside at the Citi Open.
