Mat is an experienced sports operations manager, with over 14 years of experience in international and domestic sports operations. 

Mat joins PIVOT after working 8 years as the Manager Basketball Operations at Canada Basketball (National Federation) along with 14 seasons as a part time equipment manager/basketball operation with the Toronto Raptors. Mat has had the opportunity to travel all over the globe during his time with the Canadian National Team. 

Throughout his career in basketball, Mat has become very familiar with the team and basketball operations. He recognizes the importance of and has prided himself on fostering strong working relationships with players, coaches, management and third-party partners. 

Mat also has experience working for the Toronto Blue Jays, Athletics Canada (Track and Field Federation) and Canlan Ice Sports. 

Mat lives in Toronto and loves to spend time with his wife Lauren and children Dylan and Kailey. If given the choice, he would spend most of his time outdoors on the golf course, biking, scuba diving or skiing.

Favorite Sports Moment: Being on the court and in the locker room when the Toronto Raptors won their first NBA championship in 2019.
