PIVOT Agency proudly announces the addition of Travis Wade as its Vice President of Travel.
Wade comes to PIVOT with ten years experience in the National Basketball Association (NBA) working for the San Antonio Spurs. With an extensive understanding of team operations he is now set to join Norbert Mede, PIVOT’s newly appointed Senior Vice President and lead the PIVOT travel division.
“Travis’s experience on the team side is extremely important as we grow the travel division of PIVOT,” said PIVOT Founder and CEO, Ben Shapiro. “His knowledge of team operations and scheduling needs will be imperative as we look to deliver the best travel experience for all of our clients.”
During his tenure with the Spurs, Wade was responsible for travel coordination and scheduling for the team and worked closely with head coach, Gregg Popovich and general manager, RC Buford. In addition, Wade lead basketball operations logistics for the San Antonio NBA G League affiliate, the Austin Spurs.
“I am excited to bring my knowledge to the growing PIVOT team as I know the importance of team travel and the importance of getting it right,” said Wade. “The atmosphere at PIVOT is electric and I’m very excited to be part of this operation and look forward to growing our clientele.”
Travis graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio and resides in the Alamo City with his wife, Samantha and golden doodle, Beau.
