WALNUT CREEK, CA – PIVOT Agency is excited to announce the hiring of Mat Yorke and Sandra Clayton to the growing PIVOT Travel team.
Yorke, the now Luxury & VIP Travel Coordinator, is an experienced sports operations manager, with over 14 years of experience in international and domestic sports operations.
He joins PIVOT after working 8 years as the Manager Basketball Operations at Canada Basketball (National Federation) along with 14 seasons as a part time equipment manager/ basketball operation with the Toronto Raptors. He has had the opportunity to travel all over the globe during his time with the Canadian National Team.
Throughout his career in basketball, Yorke has become very familiar with the team and basketball operations. He recognizes the importance of and has prided himself on fostering strong working relationships with players, coaches, management and third-party partners.
Yorke also has experience working for the Toronto Blue Jays, Athletics Canada (Track and Field Federation) and Canlan Ice Sports.
Clayton, the newly-named Finance Operations Supervisor, started her accounting career in the finance department at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio. Once completing her Bachelor’s in Accounting, she relocated to Illinois to work for a flavor manufacturing company. After two years Clayton moved to Columbus, Ohio, where she currently resides. In her previous roles, she has worked with inventory, budgeting, cash position reporting, setting up financials for company acquisitions, and other finance-based functions. She is currently working to complete her master’s degree in finance.
