HARRISBURG, PA—The Soniqs have announced a partnership with Intel, a worldwide industry leader in semiconductor designs and manufacturing. As a partner, Intel will drive Soniqs’ computing needs, outfitting the headquarters in Philadelphia and Harrisburg LAN center with PCs powered by Intel.
“Partnering with Intel is a huge step forward for the Soniqs,” said Darren Moore, General Manager of the Soniqs. “Intel will allow us to not only provide our players with the best possible equipment, but also help us expand many other areas within the organization. I’m excited to work with Intel to further push what we have envisioned.”
“Intel has always been supportive of the esports community by providing the best platform for competitive players at all levels,” said Marcus Kennedy, general manager of gaming and esports, Intel. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Soniqs to support both their esports teams and their community endeavors. We’re excited to see which championship trophies they take home next.”
Esports players are only as good as the computer they use to compete, and Soniqs will directly benefit from Intel’s historic lineage through the high performance systems they will provide. With equipment provided by Intel, Soniqs’ staff and players will have the latest computing technology at their disposal.
“Being able to compete on Intel computers gives me peace of mind,” said James “TGLTN” Giezen, PUBG player for the Soniqs. “I don’t have to worry about having any problems whether I’m streaming or playing in a tournament.”
In addition to using exclusively Intel powered computers, the Soniqs will work with Intel to collaborate on content and other activations for the community.
