Thank you for your interest in PIVOT. You’ve made it this far so let me tell you a little more about our agency. And when I say “our,” I mean that each member of the PIVOT team is part of the agency’s DNA and has a personal connection to its success. We aren’t working for PIVOT, we are working for each other and our success.

Our agency focuses in sponsorships of all types (entertainment, non-profit, etc.) with an emphasis in sports. We are rooted in the Bay Area sports industry, but since our establishment in 2013 we have grown to encompass much more and reach beyond our local market.

Our team cares about one another. We support each other goals, both professionally and personally; we celebrate eachothers wins; we encourage growth; and we lend each other energy. Our office is always abuzz with work and excitement. Things get crazy sometimes because we are a small agency, but that is one of our advantages. Being a close-knit team creates more opportunities for team members to be involved on clients and projects, and more opportunities for ownership.

Though we don’t have any specific openings at this time, we are always interested in meeting candidates who can contribute to our agency. Our company landscape changes quickly and we are growing rapidly, having added 3 new clients in Q4 2017 alone.

DESIGN COORDINATOR

PIVOT is a Bay Area sports and entertainment marketing startup making a name for itself in a fast-paced and dynamic industry. Our mission is to create innovative business-to-business opportunities and to unite brands and properties in lasting partnerships that channel the emotional energy of sports into profitable and meaningful consumer engagement.

We are looking for a creative individual looking to bring their design and creative skill-set to a fast-paced and nimble environment. This individual will build on their design experience by working through a number of needs that include but are not limited to new business pitch decks, client presentations, website updates, print and digital projects.

The Design Coordinator will report to the Vice President of Brand and will be responsible for creative, designing and building all presentations needed from the PIVOT team.  This individual will oversee the consistency of all presentations and design elements that are outbound from PIVOT. The individual will be responsible for renderings, mocks and merchandise designs in addition to any other element that requires design work.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to Vice President of Brands on all projects, timelines, updates, etc.
  • Design and produce presentations (ppt and ai), print, web and social
  • Be the internal expert in the latest design and creative trends in the marketplace
  • Create mocks and renderings for property team needs
  • Lead design for internal resources that include invitations, thank you notes, gear, newsletters, email blasts, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years’ experience designing presentations and creative material
  • Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and PowerPoint
  • Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills
  • Experience in organizational efficiency
  • Experience using MS Office, Google Suite

 

Education & Experience:

  • Art or design degree
  • 1-3 years of design experience
  • Video editing capability a plus

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

We are looking for a qualified and self-motivated individual to join our sales team as an Inside Sales Representative, Business Development.  Our ideal candidate is business savvy, has experience working in a fast-paced environment and possess general knowledge of sales, sponsorship and marketing concepts. This person is an effective communicator with a clear focus on an end objective and possesses the technical skills and multi-tasking capabilities to efficiently work in a start-up environment. In the advertised role, the candidate will have the benefit of working closely with, and learning from, seasoned professionals who have worked with some of the most notable sports franchises in the country.

This position has been created to help provide an entry into the sports sponsorship industry for driven and passionate individuals who otherwise may not have previous experience within the industry.  All Inside Sales Representatives start on a 3 month trial period, where they work closely with senior leadership to learn and further develop their business development skill set.  At the conclusion of the trial period, PIVOT Senior leadership will meet with the inside sales representative to review success and growth over the first 3 months, and discuss possible next steps within PIVOT.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the PIVOT Sales Team in identifying potential sponsorship opportunities for existing and potential clients
  • Effectively reach out to all leads and prospects scheduled by senior leadership
  • Drive outbound sales efforts via daily cold outreach, including email, calls, and LinkedIn reach out
  • Set up calls and meetings in conjunction with senior leadership team to expose new brands to partnership opportunities on behalf of our clients
  • Help facilitate the relationship growth and ongoing communication between properties and sponsors
  • Continually educate oneself on, and maintain awareness of, relevant industry events, publications, and announcements with the purpose of identifying meaningful trends, influential people and burgeoning brands
  • Assist the PIVOT executive staff on special projects as requested

Job Performance Evaluation:

  • Daily sales activity including all outbound sales efforts

We are looking for a qualified and self-motivated individual to join our Brand Consulting team as a Director, Business Development.  The Director of Business Development will work with our Brand Marketing EVP to help take our agency to the next level – a great opportunity for growth, career development and unlimited earning potential.  This position will be focused on selling and prospecting for brand clients (such as Clorox and Post Cereal – existing brand clients), our array of brand-centric agency services.  This includes, but is not limited to, retainers and projects that involve building strategic plans in sports and entertainment, executing research and providing insights and counsel, creative services, property management, brand-side hospitality, experiential marketing, and other services.

This is a great opportunity to leverage your sales skills and relationships to talk to the C-Suite and change the conversation. Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Brand team to map out the best plan to take PIVOT to the next level in client acquisition and growth. We want to hear your ideas and about your experience to see how they can help shape our strategy to achieve success together.
  • Cultivate and develop your existing and new relationships to prospect and generate new business.
  • Maintain activities and data in the PIVOT CRM and log all lead activity.
