PIVOT Athlete Christian Alshon Wins Cincinnati Title, Sets Sights on Asia

September 15, 2025

Fresh off a major win in Cincinnati, PIVOT Agency athlete Christian Alshon is bringing momentum and serious heat to the international court.

Over the weekend, Alshon secured a hard-fought Singles title and placed second in Men’s Doubles at the PPA Tour stop in Cincinnati, cementing his status as one of the sport’s most electrifying young stars. With his signature mix of swagger, speed, and skill, Alshon continues to show why he’s a name to watch in the world of pickleball.

Now, his journey takes a global turn as he heads to Asia to compete in back-to-back international Cups as part of PPA Tour Asia — first at the Malaysia Cup (Sept 24–28) followed by the Vietnam Cup (Sept 30–Oct 4). These tournaments mark a milestone moment for the sport’s international growth, with Southeast Asia emerging as a hotbed for pickleball.

Alshon joins a stacked lineup featuring legends like Ben Johns, Federico Staksrud, Anna Bright, Tyson McGuffin, Tyra Hurricane Black, and more — all vying for a share of the $150,000 prize pool at each stop.

As pickleball rapidly expands across Asia, events like the Malaysia and Vietnam Cups are critical in blending elite-level play with fan-fueled excitement. Both tournaments will also include amateur competitions, offering players across all levels the chance to take the court alongside the world’s best.
